Portions for 4 servings:
4 pork chops
1 butternut squash
1/2 oz butter
2 tsp maple syrup
1/2 tsp salt
Cut the butternut squash in two lengthwise, spoon out the seeds and salt the cut sides. Place cut sides down in an oven dish and cook 50mn at 200°C (400°F) for a 3lbs squash. When it is cooked, turn it over and cut a grid in the pulp without piercing the skin. Spread with the butter, drizzle with the maple syrup and return to the oven for a few minutes.
Fry the pork chops in a pan during 15mn to 20mn on medium heat depending on their thickness.
Very good recipe. To try with baked salmon.
